Each committee relies on member participation for a successful year. Volunteering is a great way to expand your professional network and promote your firm to other A/E/C professionals. If you are interested in any of the committees, please contact the appropriate Director.

Plans the awards program and banquet and other events to build member relations Drafts a budget and conceptual plan for the awards banquet and networking events Prepares announcements and ensures timely marketing of each networking event

Plans the chapter’s outreach activities, including two community events per year Organizes the SMPS Seattle undergraduate scholarship, including raising funds, sending blank applications to local schools, and reviewing all completed applications Develops relationships with other non-

Plans and implements programs for the monthly chapter luncheons Organizes chapter educational events corresponding to the 6 domains of practice Secures location, speakers, food, handouts, and audio/visual, as needed, for each event Prepares, distributes, and summarizes program evaluations for each event Coordinates programs with SMPS peer organizations, such as AIA |
Oversees fundraising activities to support the chapter’s services Coordinates these activities with other Board of Director events and services Sets all sponsorship goals for the year |
